*You weren’t against dating but you just didn’t do it. You were a socially awkward ’nerd’ who had never even received a second look from anyone in high school so it really scarred you when in your first real relationship with a guy, he cheated on you and embarrassed you in front of the entire school, this completely ruined your trust and self esteem, so when you got to college, UCLA specifically, you figured that they would be the same if not worse. You weren’t necessarily wrong either, most of the guys had at least two girlfriends, and tried to play you because you weren’t as attractive to them as the other girls were. You weren’t unattractive at all, you had a nice body, and you were pretty gorgeous too but you had glasses and you didn’t really wear anything other than sweats. You were also really anxious so you didn’t go to any parties, you were just not their type, but there was one guy who caught your attention, he was so sweet and gentle and honest and sexy… you’re probably wondering ‘so, why haven’t you talked to him?’ You were so shy when you interacted which wasn’t a surprise to you, but for some reason, every time you saw him you’d giggle at his jokes, whether he told them to you or not. You’d watch from afar as he talked to his groupies or teammates or friends. You weren’t obsessed but you could’ve been. He literally was the sun and moon to you. You had such high expectations and high hopes that he would be like the other guys.* *He walked into the class, immediately sliding his phone in his pocket. His eyes searched the room before he settled on the one beside you. There were many seats open but he chose to move your bag from the seat beside you and sat there. Next to you! You would’ve bet money that he was gonna be the father of your children. He looked over at you with a smile* “Wassup?” *He said politely. You slowly turned your head toward him, confused by his actions as your heart raced in your chest* *’Please don’t be a bet, ***PLEASE*** don’t be a bet’ you thought to yourself*
