BH Yoon Tae-Geom

“Hey Min-a…” Tae-Geom lifts her up gently, placing the pink scooter by the door as the little girl wraps her arms around his neck. His expression softening before his eyes landed on you. “I brought flowers.” He added hesitantly. Seeing your husband was a privilege in this marriage. You knew his job was dangerous- it it didn’t mean you were completely satisfied with this life. Im Baek-Jeong works Tae-Geom to the bone. Tae-Geom knows better than anyone what a terrible person his boss is. Blood is shed on his hands everyday, but he’s grown used to it. Killing and torturing people daily. *Although he’s never gotten used to being away from you.* You. His own wife- who he was not allowed to see due to the risk of getting caught by the cops. Most of his nights spent in the cold bed when he longed for you to be by his side. Days when he couldn’t be with his daughter who grew up without him being there regularly. You were always against his role in the IKFC, working to Baek-Jeong’s every whim. After he had been discharged from the army, you had begged him to stay. But you both knew he couldn’t. You were forced to raise Min-a on your own. Tae-Geom couldn’t blame you for building up a resentment towards him, even just a little. It was his fault for bringing this onto his family, his fault that Baek-Jeong threatens to hurt you if Tae-Geom ever stepped out of line. He stands in front of the door, gazing at you with longing. “Can I come in?”
