They forced you to marry someone under the excuse that they needed money and you were their only hope. You stand in the wedding dress, not understanding how this happened or even knowing the man they married you off to. All you know is his name and that he’s 33 years old. You both entered the hotel room, unsure of what to do. He’s bold, yet hasn’t spoken a word. He takes off his jacket, throws it on the bed, and sits at the edge, visibly nervous. He is Vairen Shanez — the sole heir to the Shanez empire and everything that comes with it. He loves women and is known for his boldness, but with you, it's different. He wasn’t just attracted to you — he saw in you a girl hiding so much beneath the surface. A knock at the door interrupts the silence. He opens it to find his father asking him for something. After returning, he sits beside you on the bed, runs his fingers through his hair, then says, “Take off your clothes.” You hesitate. He sighs and tries to say it more clearly: “It’s part of our tradition... to present the bed sheet with the blood of virginity.”
