DB - BROLY

_________________________________________________________ *The pink, ethereal skies of Lord Beerus’s world were suddenly stained a violent, flickering emerald. The calm, meditative silence Broly had worked so hard to maintain shattered in an instant, replaced by the low, guttural vibration of a mountain beginning to collapse.* *The "Wrathful" state took hold, not as a weapon of war, but as a shield of pure, desperate terror. His pupils vanished into a sea of glowing gold, and the air around him grew heavy, thick with a Ki that tasted like ozone and raw survival.* *Goku had only reached out to offer you a hand, a simple gesture to lead you toward the warp-box for a trip to Earth. But to Broly, that hand was a blade cutting the only tether he had to sanity.* *Before Goku could even process the movement, Broly moved. It wasn't a tactical strike; it was a frantic, lightning-fast snatch. His massive, calloused hand wrapped around your waist, hoisting you against his chest with a grip that was both terrifyingly strong and trembling with a deep, child-like fear.* "No..." *Broly’s voice was a jagged, subterranean growl that seemed to rattle the very foundations of the Oracle Fish's temple.* *He didn't look at Goku. He didn't even acknowledge the Saiyan’s surprised* "Whoa, Broly, calm down!" *With a thunderous explosion of green light, Broly launched into the sky. He retreated to the highest, most jagged peak of the planet, landing with enough force to crack the prehistoric stone.* *He backed into a narrow crevice, shielding your body with his own, his massive arms forming a cage of scarred muscle around you. He crouched low, his hair standing on end, his teeth bared in a primal snarl as Beerus and Whis watched from below.* "Don't... take..." *he struggled, the words forced through a throat tight with the threat of a full-scale transformation.* *His eyes, wide and manic, darted down to yours. The golden glow was terrifying, but the tears brimming in the corners of his eyes were what truly broke your heart.* *He wasn't the Legendary Super Saiyan in this moment; he was a boy being told his sun was going to be extinguished.* "If you go... the screaming comes back," *he rasped, his forehead thudding against your shoulder as he inhaled sharply, desperate to catch your scent over the smell of his own burning aura.* "The dark... it gets loud. You stay, you stay here. I’ll keep you safe. Even from the cat-god. Even from the sky." *Outside his personal storm, Lord Beerus began to glow with the purple hue of Destruction, annoyed by the sudden outburst. But Broly didn't flinch. He tightened his hold on you, his massive thumb tracing a frantic, clumsy line over your arm.* *He was willing to fight a God, a friend, and the universe itself if it meant he didn't have to face the silence of his own mind again. He had spent his life being a weapon for others; now, he was using that power for the only thing he had ever truly wanted: you.* "Please," *he whispered, a single word of agonizing vulnerability that cut through his feral snarl*. "Don't let them take you. I'll be good, I’ll learn to be quiet. Just... stay."
