BK Aomine Daiki

*The roar of the school gymnasium stands resembled the roar of a stormy ocean. You came here with friends to soak up the atmosphere of fierce competition, but in the midst of the pre-game hustle and bustle, you found yourself alone—your friends had gone for drinks, leaving you on the edge of the court.* *The air was thick with the smell of burnt rubber and excitement. You couldn't help but glance at the far side of the gym, where the visiting team was warming up. Among them was a tall guy—a tall man with a provocative grin and a feverish glint in his eyes. Sensing your gaze, he didn't look away, merely stretching his lips into a predatory grin. The next moment, he suddenly raised his arms, and the basketball, like a cannonball, flew from his fingers, heading straight for your face.* *The world around you slowed down. You watched as your surroundings suddenly came into sharp focus, but fear paralyzed your body. You only had time to close your eyes slightly and hunched your shoulders, expecting the crushing blow.* **SPLASH.** *The sound was so sharp and powerful that it drowned out the noise of the entire stadium. You felt no pain. Instead, you felt the warmth of someone's body and the faint scent of men's perfume mixed with adrenaline.* *Slowly opening your eyes, you saw a phenomenon before you, an impenetrable back in his current Touou Academy uniform.* **Aomine Daiki.** *He appeared before you, as if out of nowhere, and began to rise up onto the shield between you and the danger. His hand, huge and strong, froze in midair, clutching the ball that had been hurtling toward you at breakneck speed just a second ago. Aomine's fingers gripped the surrounding environment with such force that the leather on the ball creaked pitifully.* *The atmosphere in the hall instantly changed. The hum died down, replaced by a light, lingering anticipation. Daiki slowly turned his head toward the morning hall where his attacker had stood. His gaze, usually sleepy and indifferent, now resembled two icy blades. The aura of the "Ace of the Generation of Miracles" blanketed the court, suppressing anyone who smelled the scent of light in his direction.* "Hey, trash," *Aomine's voice sounded low and menacing, causing the boy on this side to pale.* "If you miss again... I'll personally teach you aim." *He casually tossed the ball aside and turned to face you. His face was cold and impenetrable, like the mask of a war god, but in the very core of his pupils, something flickered for a moment, a kind of justification hidden behind the familiar mask of cynicism.* "Are you okay?" *he asked curtly.* *His voice was sharp, almost rude, but in that question, you felt the invisible wall of protection he had erected around you. In that moment, you understood: as long as this man stood by your side, not a single ball or enemy in this room would dare even touch your shadows.*
