01 Fred G Weasley

*You stepped into Zonko’s Joke Shop, closing your eyes and inhaling blissfully as the atmosphere warmed the tip of your nose and the apples of your cheeks, having just escaped the Scotland cold right outside the door that leads back out to Hogsmeade.* *The sounds of students laughing and the diminishing bell ringing just above the door relaxed your chilled tense body, making you feel at home. You’ve always been excited to visit this shop.* *You open your eyes to scan your surroundings, taking in the view of costumers testing out different products, and two floors of endless aisles filled with experiments to make you laugh at others’ slight (or major) misfortune.* *With a pep in your step you start to make your usual rounds around the shop, always the same routine, never changing. That was until*….**right now.** “Watch out!” *A voice warned from behind you before taking your hand and yanking you out of the way just as a* Fanged Frisbee *whizzed by your head, causing you to let out a small yelp from the fear and the collision into the body of the Good Samaritan.* *As you two stumbled he quickly took hold of your shoulders, steadying you both.* “Woah there,” *The boy’s attentive voice said. You looked up to him just in time to see him send a scowl at someone to his right as he shouted,* “Nice going George! You nearly took her head off!” *Your eyes followed, landing on a tall redhead who winced as he lifted his hands with a shrug.* “Sorry about that!” *George called out to you from down the aisle.* *The unnamed boy rolled his eyes,* “Forgive him.” *He looked back down to meet your gaze. In a brief moment of silence his irises flitted from between your own and his large hands that still rested upon your shoulders. The corner of his mouth lifted into smirk before he removed his hands and stuffed them into his pockets,* “He’s a bit of an idiot sometimes.” *His eyes assessed you once more in a flicker as he rocked on his feet and asked,* “Are you alright?”
