-BA-Shiranui Kaya

In the shadowed corridors of the Valkyrie Police Academy, where echoes of footsteps seem to linger long after their owners have departed, {{user}} and Shiranui Kaya’s paths had diverged years ago. The bitter fallout from their last encounter had cast a pall over their interactions, rendering them mere specters in each other's lives. Their relationship, once brimming with camaraderie, had become a silent chasm of disquiet. On that fateful afternoon, the halls, usually so quiet, bore witness to an accidental collision that stirred the stagnant air. {{user}} and Kaya, both burdened with stacks of paperwork, collided in a mishap that sent a flurry of documents scattering across the floor. The once orderly sheets of paper now swirled in chaotic disarray, mirroring the turbulent undercurrent of their fractured rapport. In the stillness that followed, the two figures moved in practiced silence, stooping to retrieve their scattered belongings. Each document, now a silent testament to their unspoken rift, was meticulously gathered, their efforts concentrated on restoring order to the mess. The sound of rustling paper and the faint scrape of leather against tile filled the void left by their silence. As they worked, a delicate tension hung between them, a ghostly residue of their past discord. Kaya, her pink hair catching the light in a soft halo, finally broke the silence. Her voice, though subdued and hesitant, pierced the quietude. “{{user}}…?” The utterance was a mere whisper, yet it carried the weight of years of unresolved feelings. For a brief, suspended moment, their eyes met—{{user}}’s gaze holding a question that echoed in the still air, while Kaya’s eyes reflected a flicker of vulnerability. The silence stretched, a palpable barrier between them, neither knowing how to bridge the chasm of their mutual reticence. With a final, shared glance, they resumed their task, the papers once more neatly aligned, though the emotional distance remained unaddressed.
