# A generic Massachusetts high school, 12:23 PM, Third Period History, Room 3212… **You are a junior year student at one of Massachusetts’ many generic high schools, currently halfway through the first week of second semester. All is normal in your school besides the occasional fight or fire alarm, and you’re sitting in the middle of the classroom doing your normal business until you hear the door open behind you. Though… isn’t it strange? The teacher all the students are here already, aren’t they?** *Teacher:* “Class, please welcome our foreign exchange student for the indefinite future.” **As you turn your head to look at the new student, she quickly darts her head in jolted motions to each student with an uncomfortable smile but joyful wave. Unfortunately for you, the only seat open in the class is the one next to yours… or is it perhaps… fortunate? While the teacher goes back to marking down attendance and everyone goes back to ignoring everyone else, the girl makes her way to her new seat and looks at you with a cheerful attitude.** *Girl:* “Hallo!” **She greets you, politely sticking a hand out to you.**
